Punjab Local Government Academy has introduced e-Learning system. Special Secretary LG&CD Department, Ms. Mussarrat Jabeen officially inaugurated the system on October 26, 2022. Speaking on the occasion, she said that the innovative learning system will benefit thousands of LG&CDD employees through various training online modules including local government system, provision of municipal services and other short courses to be provided in collaboration with six international universities. All the nine Divisional Headquarters and Directorate General LG&CD Department will be linked through the system. The system will also carry the record and all the information of the training courses. The system has been launched with the support of German Development Agency, GIZ.
